I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of voting for the lesser of two evils in November. We always have two people – one Democrat and one Republican – that are jockying for our vote. The problem is that these days they have very little fundamental differences between them. This year (and in 2008) we had a viable alternative – Ron Paul. After researhing Ron Paul I’ve come to the conclusion that he is the ONLY option when it comes to Obama, Romney, Gingrich or Santorum. He is the only one who has a plan to dig us out of the mess we are in. Therefore, in 2012 I am refusing to vote for anyone but Ron Paul – even if he doesn’t get the GOP nomination. If this “helps” Obama get re-elected, well, sorry GOP, but I’m voting with my conscience this year. I refuse to vote for whoever you give me jsut to “get rid of Obama.” It is that very thought process that has in the debacle we are in today.
So I invite you to click on the graphic on this blog in joining with me to demand that the GOP party nominate Ron Paul… or they don’t get my vote. Below is the text of the petition.
If Congressman Ron Paul is not nominated in August of 2012 as the Republican Party nominee, his supporters will not blindly pledge their support for whoever else is. Instead, we will continue to back the message of peace, liberty, and a constitutional government through the use of write-in votes for Ron Paul. Without the support of Ron Paul’s base of millions of voters, the Republican Party nominee will fail to gather enough votes and President Obama will inevitably be reelected for a second term in November of 2012. The only way this will not happen is if Ron Paul is nominated in August of 2012. For this reason, we passionately request that you support Congressman Ron Paul as the 2012 Republican Party nominee for President of the United States. We are voters from all political parties and affiliations and are convinced that Ron Paul has the best chance to win the presidency in November.
Thanks.
