Media Lies About AZ SB1070

I saw and add for this while on Facebook today. I know I am wishy-washy on the law (more of what it could become than what it is) but this is just a blatant lie!

The Governor of Arizona just signed a bill that requires police to harass or arrest anyone who “appears to be an undocumented immigrant.” The President and Congress need to take action immediately we don’t see this trend spread to other states! (link)

How can people say this? It is so wrong that it actually makes me laugh.

The bill is on line. You should take a look at it. Along with the above mentioned police requirements the authors of the bill also set themselves up with a juicy little retirement bonus incentive for themselves – if law enforcement FAILS to enforce the new law they can be sued!
And who do you think is just itching to sue them? That’s right – The very same people who wrote the bill.

Check it out – it is about halfway down through the measure.

@Stevemacgregor: Specifics are always nice to see. Can you provide examples of all the things you mention?

Isn’t there some remark by the administration about not processing any illegals turned over by Arizona? I saw the slimey lizard Olbermann laughing about it a few days or a week ago . Apparently according to them it doesn’t matter at all what Arizona does . I don’t see how it is legal, especially to do it openly.

As in… if Arizona catches an illegal, the Obama people are going to let them go?

Well… this is the Obama & Co. The same people that think all laws are up for interpretation, including the Constitution.

Of course all laws do not apply to them . A little off topic, but the sections 18 U.S.C. § 600,
18 U.S.C. § 595, concerning the Joe Sestak affair do not apply to them either. Just business as usual to the lapdog media.

"Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy.
